History
From 2020 to the reactivation
Speculative Futures CDMX was originally founded in 2020 as a local chapter of the global Speculative Futures network. It ran for two years with sessions, readings, and collective explorations before pausing in 2022.
On May 15, 2026, the chapter was reactivated under the coordination of Andrés Valencia (Futurist.mx, co-founder of Change Innovation), with new infrastructure and an evolved community model. This page honors those who kept the idea alive in its first era and those who enable it now.
